💰 Scholarship Value and Benefits

This is a highly competitive, fully funded award. UCL has 8 scholarships available out of a total of 100 across participating UK universities.

• Tuition: Full tuition fees covered for one year.

• Stipend: A generous living stipend of £22,780.

• Networking & Placement: Scholars will participate in structured cohort activities, connect with professionals across the AI landscape, and have the opportunity to apply for an industry work placement toward the end of their studies.

📝 Eligibility and Selection Criteria

The Spärck AI Scholarship Leadership Group welcomes applications from a broad range of backgrounds. The program actively supports diversity and prioritizes underrepresented groups in the tech sector.

Core Requirements:

• Fee Status: Open to both Home and Overseas students.

• Admission Status: You must have submitted a complete admission application (including references) for one of the eligible UCL programmes before applying for the scholarship.

• Academic Merit: Demonstrated academic excellence.

Assessors will look for the following strengths and motivations:

• Curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity.

• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

• A clear understanding of what it means to hold a UK government-funded scholarship.
